Roullete Strategy – How to Win at Roullete

Roullete

Roullete, also known as Roulette in the US, is a casino game that involves a ball spinning around a wheel until it comes to rest. Players place bets on what number it will land on by placing chips on a betting mat, the precise location of the chip indicating the bet being made. There are many different roulette strategies that can be applied but a basic knowledge of the game is required to make informed decisions.

There are a number of different betting options available to the player and the type of bet will determine the winning odds. Bets can be placed on individual numbers, various groupings of numbers (dozen bets, red or black), whether the number is odd or even, and if the numbers are high (19-36) or low (1-18).

The Roulette wheel consists of a solid disk slightly convex in shape with compartments carved out of its surface that are painted alternately red and black and numbered from 1 to 36 in a seemingly random pattern. On European-style wheels there is an extra green compartment labelled 0, while American tables feature two extra green ones numbered 00.

When the ball comes to rest in one of the compartments it is removed from the table and the winning bets are paid out. The losing bets are collected and go into the casino’s income. The dealer then announces the winning number and if it is a straight bet the payout will be equal to the amount wagered by the player.

A basic roulette strategy involves spreading your bets across the table to maximize your chances of winning. This will increase your overall return to the table, but you should always make sure that your bankroll can cover a loss before making a bet.

The most popular roulette strategy is the Martingale System, which entails doubling your stake every time you lose. This can be risky and may lead to you running out of money, but it is effective if used correctly. Another useful technique is the Labouchere system, which works by setting your desired win amount and then changing your stake amounts accordingly.
